The spirit of celebration swept across Toto Local Government Area as the Maikaya Mobilization Movement (MMM) marked the birthday of Nasarawa's frontline gubernatorial aspirant, Alh. Dr. Muhammed Maikaya, in a bold and historic fashion.
Under the leadership of Hon. Abubakar Yusuf Toto, the movement mounted four strategic billboards across three key districts — Toto, Umaisha, and Gadabuke — transforming the birthday celebration into a powerful statement of presence, vision, and grassroots strength.
Two towering billboards now stand proudly in Toto town at Rafin Kunama and Gbawodi, welcoming travelers from Abaji with the inscription "Welcome to Toto." Another warmly receives visitors entering Umaisha from Kanyehu, while the fourth stands tall at Gadabuke, greeting those arriving from Nasarawa.
But this is more than celebration — it is symbolism.
According to the organizers, the billboards are not just birthday tributes; they are directional landmarks for visitors and a signpost of development-minded leadership. For the first time in Toto LGC's history, birthday celebrations have taken a community-centered dimension that blends festivity with public value.
Representing Dr. Maikaya at the unveiling, the Consultation Coordinator in Toto LGC, Hon. Jibrin Musa, described the initiative as "remarkable and unprecedented," conveying the aspirant's deep appreciation and prayers for the movement's continued strength.
As Dr. Maikaya celebrates during the sacred month of Ramadan, supporters across the three districts are united in one prayer — that Allah grants him long life, sound health, and the grace to fulfill his 2027 ambition.
