In a major political realignment that has sent strong signals across Nasarawa State, Alh. Dr. Muhammed Maikaya has successfully facilitated the withdrawal of Hon. Muhammed Maina Dikko from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and his formal return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Muhammed Maina Dikko, the immediate past SDP Chairmanship Candidate in the 2024 Nasarawa State Local Government Council Election, officially picked up his APC membership card in his ward, marking a decisive political comeback. He was received alongside over ten thousand loyal supporters, who followed him en masse into the APC — turning the event into a massive show of strength and solidarity in Toto Ward.
This political development follows a strategic indoor meeting held days earlier between Hon. Maina and Dr. Muhammed Maikaya, CEO of the Maikaya Development Foundation and Hopeful APC Gubernatorial Candidate of Nasarawa State.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Maina expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Maikaya's leadership, sincerity, and inclusive approach to politics.
"I have always had passion for APC. The opportunity I saw in Dr. Muhammed Maikaya — his unwavering dedication, commitment to people without discrimination, and his clear vision — strengthened my resolve.
