His Excellency, Alh. Dr. Muhammed Maikaya — Ciroman Toto, CEO of Maikaya Development Foundation and Hopeful APC Gubernatorial Candidate of Nasarawa State — interfaced with the Tiv community under the aegis of the Renewed Hope Grassroots Mobilization Movement, a prominent Tiv association in Nasarawa State.
The meeting, led by Hon. Solomon Chuncor, was held at the ASSU Secretariat, Bukan Sidi, opposite Revenue House, Lafia, where His Excellency engaged the Tiv community in fruitful discussions centered on unity, inclusion, and grassroots development across the state.
In recognition of his unwavering support, accessibility, and commitment to all ethnic nationalities in the state, the association conferred on Dr. Maikaya a prestigious award and traditional title: "HUNDAGAR U TIV" — meaning "The Entrance Gate of the Tiv Nation in Nasarawa State."
The honour reflects the deep trust and admiration the Tiv community holds for His Excellency and his vision for a united, prosperous, and inclusive Nasarawa State.
Dr. Maikaya expressed profound gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed his dedication to fostering harmony, empowering communities, and ensuring that every ethnic group in Nasarawa State enjoys a sense of belonging and opportunity.
The colourful event ended with prayers, appreciation, and renewed assurances of stronger collaboration for peace, progress, and collective prosperity of all communities in Nasarawa State.
